Data Sharing Between FITIV and Other Apps
When you have Apple Health data sharing enabled in FITIV the App will automatically read your latest body weight and age to ensure the calories burned formula is as accurate as possible. Furthermore, all your workout results will automatically be recorded in the Apple Health database to be shared with all your favorite fitness apps.
To enable Health App data sharing:
- Open the FITIV app.
- Tap on the MORE tab.
- Find the Health App data sharing option and enable it.
The steps required to enable Health App data sharing will vary from one app to another. Normally the setting can easily be found within the app's options. Once enabled, the app will be able to read all the FITIV data present in your Health App database.
For example here are the steps required to enable Health App data sharing within MyFitnessPal:
- Open the MyFitnessPal app.
- Tap on the More tab.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap on Sharing & Privacy.
- Tap on Healthkit Sharing.
- Turn on all the relevant sharing data (Dietary Calories, Workout, etc).
