FITIV allows you to customize your workout list to your own personal preferences and training style. Rearrange your workouts list, create new workout types, remove unwanted labels, and customize workout elements like icons or GPS tracking from within the iPhone app.
Rearranging Your Workout List
Your workout list can be rearranged for easier use, you can add additional workout types that are not included by default, delete unwanted workout types from your list, and rearrange workouts to prioritize the workout types you use the most. Simply use the EDIT feature in the My Workouts section of the iPhone app to get started.
To access these options open the iPhone app and tap the green workout button to access your current workout list. Next select CUSTOMIZE>EDIT to enable your editing options. To remove a workout from the INCLUDE list tap the red(-) icon. To rearrange the workout list select your desired workout and tap and drag the workout to the desired placement in the list. Additional workout types can be found in the DO NOT INCLUDE section at the bottom of this screen. To include these workouts tap the (+) icon next to the desired workout to add it to the INCLUDE list.
Creating a Custom Workout
Though the app provides an extensive list of possible workout types, there are situations where you may want to add in workout types that are not included in the app by default, which is why the app provides the option to add additional custom workouts.
To add a custom workout navigate to the workout customization options by tapping the green workout button, then selecting CUSTOMIZE>(+).
Workouts can be then given a NAME, TYPE, and ICON. There are also available options for enabling GPS-tracking for outdoor workouts, distance estimation for non-GPS workouts on Apple Watch, the option to switch between recording/displaying SPEED or PACE, the option to automatically enable Water Lock for specified workouts, and programmable intervals can be added.
