Sign In With Apple is a service that allows you to link your accounts for third-party apps directly to your AppleID, allowing you to manage your passwords and the email address information you provide for those accounts. This is a secure and simple sign-in method introduced by Apple in 2019.
We recommend that our user create a FITIV account as this will help make sure that settings and workout histories are always backed up, and Sign In With Apple is a simple and secure way to create a FITIV account and keep your data safe.
How do I link Sign In With Apple to my FITIV account?
If you already have a FITIV account, even if the email you used is the same as your AppleID, SIWA needs to be linked to your account. Fortunately, this is an easy process. Simply open the FITIV app on your iPhone, go to MORE>ACCOUNT and tap the LINK TO SIGN IN WITH APPLE BUTTON.
Help! I accidentally created a second account!
Because Sign In With Apple is a new service it’s understandable that users may be confused by the difference between SIWA and logging in via their AppleID as their email address. This means that sometimes when logging into their account we have seen users accidentally create a new SIWA account instead of logging into their actual account.
The best solution is to Un-Link your new Sign In With Apple account, log back into your original account, and link to SIWA through the MORE>ACCOUNT section.
To Un-Link to SIWA follow the instructions here:
