Tracking the food you eat is one important element of keeping fit and healthy. Fortunately, there are lots of ways to track your calories and macros. One of the most popular nutrition tracking apps for both iOS and Android is MyFitnessPal, which syncs beautifully with FITIV Pulse.
How do I get my calories consumed to sync from MyFitnessPal to FITIV Pulse?
There are two options for syncing FITIV Pulse and MyFitnessPal: you can connect the two apps directly through the MORE section of FITIV, or they can be connected via Apple Health.
To Connect in FITIV:
MyFitnessPal is a data sharing partner with FITIV Pulse. To connect the two apps simply:
- Open FITIV Pulse to the MORE section
- Scroll down to DATA SHARING AND PARTNERS and tap MyFitnessPal
- Tap CONNECT and sign into your MyFitnessPal account
NOTE: If you are connecting via the MORE section of FITIV it is important to disable MyFitnessPal connection in the Apple Health app
To Connect in Apple Health:
This option is simple, once FITIV Pulse and MyFitnessPal are both connected to Apple health the data should seamlessly sync. To ensure that FITIV Pulse is connected to Apple health simply do the following.
- Open the HEALTH app on your iPhone
- Tap the PROFILE ICON
- Tap APPS>FITIV PULSE
- Ensure that everything in this menu is connected
